She is very kind, thoughtful and courteous. She respected our birth wishes and was very informative! She eased the mind of my baby’s father and was so supportive through our whole birthing experience. She was very professional but also very personable and even though I only knew her for a few weeks before the arrival of my daughter she made me feel so comfortable in her presence. Millie provided snacks, oils, helped with massages and walking through the hospital as well as taking on any task that took away from our focus of having a great delivery. Millie was also kind enough to make a very personal gift for my daughter with an old t-shirt we provided. If we hadn’t moved out of state I would more than love to have her be a part of our next pregnancy! “Millie went above and beyond as a doula despite geographical barriers, and barriers caused by COVID. She checked in on me often throughout my pregnancy and was very proactive in finding articles and/or videos to help support various needs during my third trimester. When there were no needs to be met, she offered emotional support during my postpartum period. If it weren't for the tight restrictions of COVID, or had we lived closer and she was able to have been present for the birth of my son, I believe she would have been wonderful support, and a fantastic advocate for me during labor.”
